Minnie was a curious cat. She wandered down the garden path. Her tail flicked with excitement. She explored the colourful flowers all around her. The air smelled sweet and fresh. It smelled of lavender, roses and daisies. She padded along the stones. Her small paws were light on the grass but something felt different today. The flowers were pink, purple and yellow. They seemed to shimmer in the sunlight. Minnie’s green eyes widened. The flowers began to glow. Her whiskers twitched with curiosity. She stepped closer to the glowing blossoms. She felt a strange pull. She wanted to explore deeper into the magical garden.

The complication

  1. A glowing flower wilts when Minnie touches it and a soft whisper asks her to find the lost sunbeam to fix the garden.
  2. A mischievous robin steals one glowing petal and Minnie must chase it through hidden tunnels beneath the garden.
  3. A gate of vines slowly closes behind Minnie and she must work out a clever plan to open it before night falls.
