Ethan had always hated Mondays, but this one felt different. As he sat on his bed, flipping through the calendar, he realised something strange. The date wouldn’t change. Each time he turned the page, the same numbers stared back at him: 28th. Over and over again, it was the 28th. And the clocks... they all kept ticking, but the time never moved. What was happening?

The complication

  • Ethan discovers that only he notices the date and time are stuck, while everyone else acts as if nothing is unusual, making it hard for him to prove what is happening.
  • The town starts to repeat small events more loudly and dangerously each loop, so Ethan must find the trigger before the situation becomes harmful.
  • Every time Ethan tries to change something about the 28th, a new unexpected consequence appears on the same day, forcing him to choose which problem to fix first.
